KPM once again are first in design and development of the new intercooling system for the FG Coyote S/C Engines.

Our testing has found that the standard non intercooled GS, GT and GT-P Coyote engines are suffering from superheated intake air temperatures.
The ambient intake air naturally increases in temperature when pumped through the supercharger and compressed.

Especially on our warm Australian summer days we have tested and found prolonged engine usage or spirited driving to be a major problem with overheating the air into the engine.

This causes SEVERAL RISKS for your engine in regards to reliability and performance.
The hotter the air entering your engine the more prone to detonation your engine becomes. This firstly causes loss of power and thereafter, if not adjusted to, permanent engine failure.

Ford has attended to the lack of intercooling by using the engine sensors to pick up the intake air temperature and detune your engine when it reaches predetermined warm intake temperatures. This detuning is used to protect your engine rather than cool the incoming air.

This method however causes a noticeable lack of power and poor fuel economy, with warm intake air still unattended to.

We believe Ford is designing an intercooler system for future models to fit into the existing manifold design. This will be a great advantage to the currant design.

Without the disadvantage of factory restraints, KPM Motorsport has immediately gone a step further than this and designed, developed and tested a spacer plate to be able to house the largest intercooler that can possibly fit onto the Coyote setup.

We have integrated all the aspects of a premium intercooling system to be able to give the most efficient cooling to the intake supercharged air possible. Our testing has found the KPM Integrated Intercooler system to remove up to 70 deg F intake temp from the non intercooled GS, GT, GT-P designs.
Not only has this reduced intake temps however it has gained up to 25 Kw of instant power without any other changes.
Extended dyno, track and road endurance testing has proved that our KPM Intercooling has kept temperatures down MASSIVELY in all conditions.

This means perfect reliability. With better power and economy.

KPM Integrated Intercooling System

KF48 KPM Premium Entry Level Intercooler Kit

This intercooler kit is the obvious solution for premium entry level cooling.  KPM have designed this cooler to utilise the factory manifold with no changes to the external look of the engine. It would be the same design that would be utilised by OEM.
The assembly is fitted by removing the supercharger and manifold to accommodate the under plenum cooler. All the hoses are as OEM and routed unseen to a premium brushless Bosch water pump. The pump then pumps at over 1000 l per hour through KPM s exclusive 2 pass front mounted intercooler.
This cooler is the largest on the market with the added performance of cooling by passing oncoming air through it twice. This is called a two pass cooler and coupled with the under plenum cooler make it the most efficient design of this size intercooler kit available.
This means reducing intake temps by up to 60 deg F and even more importantly, maintaining this level of cooling.
