The KPM Streetfighter was the first package developed and on the market for the 5.0 S/C Coyote.
KPM Motorsport commenced our design and development of all our Streetfighter products and packages in November 2010.
The packages had been through many phases, developments and test cycles until releasd in March 2011 at the FPV Open day in Melbourne.
Since the March release we have demonstrated and tested our KPM 500 KW [B][I]Streetfighter[/I][/B] package at multiple events throughout Australia.
This 500 kW package incorporates our [B][I]Streetfighter Intercooler Kit[/I][/B], brakes suspension, tuning, exhaust, wheels and more. All products can be purchased individually, as a package or as a complete vehicle new, from a selected Ford Dealer Australia Wide.

Of major importance to KPM was to have all our results independently tested to give prospective buyers accurate non-biased results of our [B][I]Streetfighter [/I][/B]Vehicle and products.
We were fortunate enough to have David Morely one of the main motoring writers for Motor Magazine Australia put our car through its paces at Heathcote Motorsport Park back in March. Our car was handed over to David retrofitted with the same Streetfighter package available new from showroom with our KPM Care 3 Year Factory Warranty Protection.
On a 29 deg ambient temperature day David put this car through 2 sets of 12 continuous runs of the quarter mile. This added to 24 x 0-400 meter runs on a drag strip with track temperature of 36 deg Celsius! With constant runs of 12.2 all day our last several runs gave us our best results of a 12.0 quarter mile. Our 0-100 KPH time was 4.2 secs and braking distance from 100-0 kph was 36 meters.
Power output 436 rwkw/ 500 plus Fwkw.
These results are up there with the Porsche Panamera and AMG S65 as the worlds fastest 4 door cars.
Moving forward from our March testing and results we continued to give our [B][I]Streetfighter [/I][/B]the utmost abuse on race track, road and dyno. The AFF National drag meeting in June gave a clearer result of the cars true potential on the same drag strip at Heathcote.
The difference being 13 deg Celsius ambient temps from the March to June trials.
8 Runs in the low 11 secs bracket with a best of 11.14 at 127 mph!
This from the same vehicle and setup that can be bought from showroom. Surely the Worlds Fastest 4 Door Car to be available new with 3 year warranty!
Once again in July and now with 17,000km of abuse and a history of harsh trialling, we put our car in the hands of Motor Magazines and V8 Supercar driver Warren Luff. Again with cold ambient temps of 13 deg our aim was to reproduce or better our July results for the Hot Tuner Shootout.
In the midst of 2 other quality 5.0 S/C Coyotes from Herrod and Auto-Tech our results were respectable but below par. The first signs of wear from this amazing car were starting to show up.
This seemingly unbreakable package was starting to have slippage from the ZF Auto transmission. First signs of this were on the drag strip with the transmission going into a limp mode due to the clutches slipping on gear shift. Over the 3 runs tested the Streetfighter still managed a respectable 12.6 0-400 meters and approx 370 kW on dyno testing.

Although disappointed in not being able to show our true potential, we drove back to Adelaide satisfied that our objective over the last 10 months of pure abuse and trialling had come down to 4 th gear clutches slipping.
With our clutches renewed KPM have utilised Herrods newly released ZF transmission tuning software.
The rectification to help prevent this issue in the future is by correct and precise tuning of the transmission.
Tuning changes have included, firmer line pressures to cope with the extra demand and torque through the transmission to give this Streetfighter package even more integrity and reliability.
After almost a year in development and now with many Coyotes around Australia enjoying our packages and warranties KPM will still continue our strenuous testing and development of all our Streetfighter products.
