At KPM, we recognise that customer safety is paramount.  With any performance enhancement, a suitable brake package should always be considered and we have a range of options to suit.

Modern cars are now leaving the factory much heavier and with much more power than ever before. This is due to all the extra systems on board that make these cars safer, more efficient and more powerful. This would suggest braking systems to suit but quite often the braking system on many models is engineered to work to a budget rather than to performance. 

We understand that standard brakes become poor brakes when the power levels are increased or when there is extra load or weight on the vehicle.  At KPM, we have engineered brake upgrade kits specifically designed for your Ford V8.  These kits are developed in upgrade stages from base models, through to GT and V8 Super Car configurations.
KPM Motorsport technicians are experienced in race track and domestic high performance vehicles and can recommend and provide all your braking needs.

Performance Pad and Brake Fluid Upgrade

A simple upgrade to achieve above standard brakes is the EBC brake pad and GS610 brake fluid upgrade. Although never a replacement for bigger brake upgrades it is definately an affordable option.This combination will give a better pedal feel and is less likely to fade under heavy braking.Suitable for mild street performance only.

KF27 Brake Fluid : GS610 Brake Fluid

GS610 is a revolutionary product. Used in NASCAR and deeply entrenched in Indy car racing today.

This product annihilates the competition on paper, on the track and in service life.

Now available in Australia exclusively through Martini Racing,and its South Australian dealership, KPM Motorsport.
GS610 has a higher boiling point dry and wet, a very long service life, zero silicone content, lower compressibility and extremely high specific gravity .

What does this mean?

GS610 Will give you an incredible improvement in pedal feel and vastly improve brake fade. Bleeding brakes in between races is a thing of the past as is draining the fluid and refilling repeatedly as with some silicone race fluids.

GS610 is competitively priced at near half that of Castrol SRF fluid. Contact KPM today and start braking "Deeper, Harder and Longer" .

Caliper Upgrade Kits

Alcon ‘Caliper Upgrade Kits’ are also available. This allows you to retain the standard disc and fit either the Mono4 or Mono6 caliper fitted with high performance pads. This provides a large performance gain and increased pedal feel as well as looks great at a budget price. Once again, this package is bolt-on so you can re-fit your standard calipers when re-selling your car.

Alcon Full Brake Upgrades

Complete car set of brakes with all necessary components for easy fitment

The ultimate high performance brake upgrade package is the complete car kit. This gives you a brake kit which is designed to ensure you don’t need to modify your standard car at all! This means that when you sell the car, this kit will come off and your standard package will bolt straight back on! Using Alcon calipers and discs, this package represents the best in performance brake upgrades available on the market anywhere.

Front Brake Upgrade Kits

Supercar Spec Mono6 (378mm disc) or Racer Spec Mono6 (365mm disc)

Complete front brake kits using Alcons awesome Mono6 calipers come in two specifications – 365mm disc – the Racer Spec, or mammoth 378mm disc – Supercar Spec. High performance road pads as well as all parts necessary for fitment are included in the kits.

Club Spec Mono4 (335mm disc)

Mono4 calipers are used in the Club Spec kits which uses a 335mm disc. This kit is designed to fit under 17” wheels but also looks the part when fitted under 19’s and offers a massive performance jump from standard.

Rear Brake Upgrade Kits

Rear Spec Car 36, 4 piston (335mm disc)

Complete rear brake kits are available using Alcons 4 piston caliper and 335mm discs. PWR produced handbrake drum assembly makes this another ‘bolt on’ kit. If you are fitting this kit to a ute, we can specify smaller piston sizes to compensate for weight distribution differences
