VE Stealth Cold Air Induction Kit

KPM have just completed development of a new Stealth Cold Air Intake for the VE.

Most standard Cold Air Intakes work well to reduce temperatures while cruising or running the car at speed, and our Stealth system does this very well.

But where a standard CAI tends to fall short is while idling or moving slowly in traffic, the the temperatures will always start to rise.

The KPM Stealth Airbox not only reduces air intake temperatures at high speed, but also significantly reduces them while stationary or moving along slowly, therefore when the time comes to get going again, you will immediately have good throttle response and power.

The system is fully insulated against heat and excessive noise, and has been designed to look like it was meant to be there, instead of looking like an ugly add-on.

KPM Motorsport provides Cold Air Induction Systems for the complete range of Holden vehicles.

KPM Motorsport is still the first and only manufacturer of the VE Cold Air Induction System. Utilising premium materials and filters, these systems offer a premium upgrade from the restrictive factory induction system. Not only are factory systems restrictive but they also don’t cool the inlet air temperature into your motor as efficiently.

The benefits of cold air into your motor are simply more power and economy from your vehicle. Increased cold, dense air into your engine produces more efficient power, which results in better economy.

KPM’s own thorough testing and development of this system under Australian conditions has provided excellent results. Under the most severe ambient and under bonnet temperatures, the KPM Cold Air Intake ran inlet temperatures up to 10 degrees Celsius lower than the factory induction system. Our dyno tests also showed power increases of 7% by simply bolting on the Cold Air Induction and 16% power increase when we custom tuned the engine specifically to suit the intake system.

Our KPM Cold Air induction system is arguably the most simple and best value for money power upgrade available for your VE V8 Commodore. Fitting time is half to one hour and all that is required is flat blade screwdriver. Simple!

Bosch 1000/2000cc Injectors by KPM Motorsport

The Bosch EV14 is the latest in gasoline-engine fuel injectors and are the optimal solution for fulfilling the requirements of the very wide range of intake-air and fuel systems on modern vehicles sold worldwide. This includes our latest Australian Ford and Holden models.

KPM Motorsport now source this new technology injector from Bosch, developing it to a level that can be used in all high power engine and power package applications.

We carry this out in our own facilities by the process of set matching flow characteristics to be within /- 1% tolerances.

All development and testing is done by KPM using specialised equipment and then confirmed in dynamic real life situations by careful logging and data retrieval.

By utilising a KPM high flow injector of the same original type as the vehicle manufacturer (Bosch EV14) allows you to maintain best manners, integrity and characteristics from your cars computer and engine tune.

What this means is a set of injectors above OEM specification, capable of delivering the exact fuel to more than handle your extra power demand.

Every set is tested and matched for flow, meaning exact fuel is delivered to every cylinder in your engine. The results allow you the most reliable tuning with best power, smooth idle and fuel economy from your high performance engines.

The new EV 14 fuel injector not only sets new standards, but is also available in three different installation lengths. 34mm, 49mm and 61mm

This means we have been able to develop 1000cc and 2000cc exact matched sets for almost all Holden and Ford high performance applications.

KPM 1000cc sets are direct fit for all lengths.

KPM Performance Clutch Kits

For years now, finding a decent clutch for the Holden powered vehicle has proven to be somewhat of an arduous task. As the Holden scene increased in population both on our streets and the track so too did the horsepower levels and it was fast becoming more and more difficult to find a clutch which simply worked both on and off the street effectively.

Grown from continual testing and development both on Road and Track we are pleased to present the answer to the calls of many who have been placed through the tread mill when selecting the right clutch for the most difficult task of all&. getting it right both on and off the street. From effortless non shudder bumper to bumper traffic right up to that mid 1.4 second to the sixty foot mark this clutch delivers the goods without the need for a bedding in period which often takes weeks.

That's right! The selected components within the KPM Series clutch assembly have been perfectly matched, digitally machined and zero balanced for instant use.

The pressure plate houses a specifically designed high leverage diaphragm, capable of delivering high clamping forces just when it is needed moments before engagement and not during the clutch peddle movement, therefore giving the driver a progressive feel under foot whilst maintaining near stock pedal travel and pressure for the ease of street driving.
